Okay, so I know- interesting topic for my first blog post.  But I can promise you a better introduction and recap of this current semester over the winter holidays : ).

As for right now?

Hi everyone!  My name is Chelsea Elizabeth Toczauer.

Quick intro-I'm currently studying abroad with CIEE (<-awesome company, just saying, I'll elaborate on this more later) in Beijing China for the Intensive Chinese Language Program.

I'm a Junior from the University of Southern California with a double major in East Asian Culture and Language (Chinese focus) and International Relations (Asia Pacific and Security concentrations) with a Slavic Languages and Literatures (Russian) minor.

But what am I up to right now you ask?

Well let me tell you!

Right now I'm at Bla Bla Cafe at ZhongguanXinyuan, the Peking University Global Village (aka where the dorms are, a cafe in the vicinity). Photo on 2012-12-09 at 16.41 #2

Getting strange looks from Korean guys as I take this lovely photo for you...

So yeah, I'm

1-preparing a presentation on Wahaha-Dannon case for the Business Negotiation class with Donny Huang (DUE TOMORROW OH MY GOSH PROCRASTINATIONNNN!!! ><) (<-in my defense I've had the flu the last few days and am finally better today-flu=not fun!)

2-paper for Chinese Intermediate Grammar Elective class on superstitions.  <-I actually look forward to writing that paper... I'm thinking of writing on FengShui, etc... I'll post more on that later : )

And here are some photos I edited the other day at Bridge Cafe starring Ke Laoshi (John):
